E-commerce Tracking for Shopify

I implemented E-commerce Tracking on a Shopify store to provide accurate insights into customer behavior, product performance, and campaign ROI. The goal was to track the full purchase journey and enable data-driven decisions for marketing and sales optimization

What I Did

→ Installed and configured Google Tag Manager on Shopify
→ Set up GA4 E-commerce Tracking for product views, add-to-cart, checkout, and purchase events
→ Mapped dataLayer variables to capture dynamic product data (ID, name, price, quantity, currency)
Integrated Google Ads Conversion Tracking for purchase events
→ Implemented Facebook Pixel & CAPI for cross-platform conversion tracking
→ Verified event accuracy using GA4 DebugView and Meta Events Manager
→ Created custom reports for revenue, average order value, and conversion funnels
